Aniqa, a Story
I am Aniqa and I am nine years old. My family lives in Liaqat Colony Rawalpindi. We were hand to mouth when my father was alive even. We are two sisters and three brothers. My father died due to a blood disease. After his death we stayed with our grand mother at their home. Later, my grand mother bought us a separate home and now and now we live there. I was fond of study but my mother could not bear the expenditure. One of our neighbors told my mother about Saba Homes. She (my mother) sighted the environment and decided to send me here. I am very happy here. Good food and dress is provided to me. I assure you I never imagine about such peaceful and healthy setting before. I am grateful to my God for blessing me such way. Mama & Papa are so nice and my teachers as well. I don’t feel any scarcity in my life. By the grace and will of Allah I will make a hospital for poor where they would cure freely. I want to get a prominent and successful achievement if I could brighten the name of Saba Homes and it will cause a pleasure for mama and papa. I wish my almighty ALLAHA to keep MAMA and PAPA happy and solve all of their problems. I also wish almighty Allah to make Saba Trust much more progressive.
Amina, a Story
I am Amna. I was very dear to my parents. We were a happy family when my father was alive. My parents were very careful to me. My father always forbidden to mother to punish us at our mischievous and explained these are kids and stop this when would get sense. I , and my sister cried a lot when my father left for UAE to manage our bread and butter. My father left and worked hard. He sent us every thing which we desired. My parents lived in UAE before our birth. I, Amna Kazmi and my elder sister Rida were born there, and then my father fetched us Pakistan. Next time when he was there in UAE, he suffered from a severe disease. He came back Pakistan after some time he died due to illness, we were alone now. Father had gone far away from us. We always felt a space in our life of our dearest father. Our relatives, with whom we lived, were so nice to us. Now we were facing financial crisis. My mother was keen to educate us at higher and standard level, but it was impossible due to unavailability of any income source. My mother was worried about it then some one told her about Saba Homes. My mother took me and my sister to Saba Homes. It was tremendous and excellent change in my life. We started a new life. We met with other girls like us here. We got this perception as our father had not died yet, even still alive in form of owner of Saba Homes. We use to call him PAPA. He loves us more then real father and treat her as her own daughters. MAMA is also a nice lady; she takes great care of us like their own. They look like our real parents. They love all the girls living in Saba Homes equally. We go to High Standard Private School. Papa has made it possible to provide us all the things which he provides to his own two daughters. We get everything here which we desire. Now I am happy and strong ambitious to grow myself as per the dreams of MAMA and PAPA. They wish not only a successful life for us but a symbol for others. I wish to almighty Allah to give MAMA and PAPA as long as they could see us what they want.

RECREATION AND FIELD TRIPS
Saba Trust, Saba Homes take children to different trips to improve their knowledge, learn, leisure and enjoy. The children anxiously wait for these trips so that they can enjoy. Saba Homes gives opportunity to Saba Girls to enjoy natural atmosphere. So to achieve this target Saba Homes arrange these trips frequently to improve girls’ mental and physical approach. The children feel freedom in their life and learn something. Some trips made during 2009 are as follows:
Islamabad is one of the most beautiful cities of Pakistan. One of summer evening the girls were given treat in Ice Cream Café in excellent surroundings of the capital. The girls get ready early in the morning. They were imagining the ice cream treat in such a beautiful location as they were explained already by their room mothers. They were anxiously waiting to start their journey. Girls Mama Mrs. Bushra Aslam, Room mothers Sadia, Asma and Administrator were also ready to proceed along with them.

All the people in the Ice Cream Café were astonished to see many little girls entering in such a disciplined manner and saying Salams to them. They started asking from which organization these little angles belong to. All the girls sat quietly to the benches.

We ordered the taste of their choice and requirement. Waiters served them and the girls started eating with Bismilla and dua. The people sitting in the Café were looking to them. Most of them came to the staff and asked so many questions.

a. From which school they belong to?
b. Do you teach them only religious education or other subjects too?
c. What are the charges for education in your organization?
d. What are the criteria for admission in your organization?

They were informed that these are orphan girls and they belong to Saba Homes where they are living, being educated in well reputed school, tuition fee and all other expenses are borne by the Saba Homes. They are given every opportunity which a child can expect from their real parents. Mr. Aslam and Mrs. Aslam are their Mama and Papa and both of them are doing for them whatever they can do to make their life happier and forget their sufferings. The people there met the girls excited and delighted and said goodbye with all of their prayers.

The girls not only thanked them, they called the waiters saying "uncle goodbye" and helped them to take the ice cream cups back. And these pictures are associated to a burger party held on Saba Homes.
Visit to Ayub Park
Ayub Park is the nearest, large and beautiful Park from Saba Homes location in the city of Rawalpindi. So many visitors come daily to take rest and enjoy there. In the Park there are facilities to play outdoor games, yachting, see snake house or visit zoo. All type of children play equipments are also installed.

The girls enjoyed a lot for the whole day with their room mothers and visited every corner of the park. They visited snake house also. As this park is situated in a vast jungle area therefore different school children visit this park daily. The same day three other school children of the same age also arrived.

Saba girls were enjoying in disciplined manner. After playing the girls sat in the central main ground in group shape. They sang songs and participated in poems competitions. The room mothers gave prizes to the winners. Some children from other schools participated in Saba girls activities. The girls made fun a lot in the evening. There was hustle and bustle in the Park.

When they were asked to gather and we should now go back. They gathered and one of the girls said, may I throw these tissue papers and rappers to the trash ban. The other girls said may we clear ground from these papers and kachra. They were allowed and they cleared the ground so it looks nice. To see this, other children were also excited and they also helped Saba girls.

The eye witness people started asking questions and took information about Saba Homes and promised to visit unique institution. Some of them later visited Saba Homes and made their expressions.
6 Days in Kashmir
The Mission and Vision of Saba Homes is very clear. This organization is not only providing boarding and lodging facilities to the orphan girls but it helps to train them in such a way that they should be molded for the social and behavioral changes to the right path.So that, this make their life successful, peaceful with dignity and better reward from Allah ST hereafter. The initial training includes;
a. Work together b. Work in groups c. Help with room mother d. Work and learn in a peaceful Islamic way that all human being are equal and to eliminate the prejudice and hate.

The girls visited Kashmir with their Mama, Administrator and Room mothers for a six day visit. This was their memorable visit. From morning till evening they visited different places and their discipline manners reflected that the Saba Homes mission and vision is very clear to them.

The girls visited mountains, valleys and rivers. The groups were organized under their leaders who performed very good job. There have been no complaint against them during this period. If any girl felt health problem, the other one took charge and performed the duty.

They played games, hold competition of Naat and poems. In Kashmir, it was very cold water available but they prayed regularly. One of the girl said to Mama with curiosity that I found these native people are very strange as they keep very cold snowy water in wash rooms also.

Some of the girls relate from Kashmir. When their families were informed, they came to see them and their Saba Homes family. They were very happy to see their dear ones participating in different educational and sports activities. LaRaib is one of Kashmiri girl. Her mother asked her to come home and see her Grandma for some time but she said mother, I will come to see all of you when I will be on vacation, at present I can't leave my colleagues and I do not want them to do my part of job during my absence. While coming back they all lauded "Goodbye Kashmir, Goodbye Kashmir". On reaching Saba Homes most of them told Papa that we had heard regarding Kashmir from our parents but seen Kashmir 1st time. They said, this occasion will remember in their mind forever and we thank Mama and Papa who gave us real love and affection which a child can expect from their real parents.
